Joycelynn is a clinician with a relatable spirit. She enjoys assisting clients with addressing challenges that come with the vast territory of this thing called “life.” She holds an empathetic approach to counseling, based on the foundations of psychotherapy. Joycelynn welcomes adults, teens, and children who are seeking to address challenges related to stress, depression, anxiety, trauma, and other life situations and transitions you may be facing. She looks forward to navigating your unique journey with you !
Joycelynn has both clinical and research experiences in the areas of Counseling and Psychology. She is an LPC-Associate and she also holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Phoenix (2008).
She also has a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Texas Southern University (2000) and two undergrad degrees, Psychology and Anthropology, from the University of Houston.
Joycelynn is also a certified yoga instructor, with specialties in yoga for anxiety, yoga for depression, yoga for grief, and trauma informed yoga.
